As an Industrial Mechanics Apprentice, you will be part of our Regeneration Department, contributing to important projects while receiving comprehensive mentorship and structured training.
Job Mission:
The Industrial Mechanics Apprenticeship is a crucial step in building a successful career in engineering and services technology. Under direct supervision, you will assist with daily operational tasks and actively participate in training courses, workshops, and mentorship activities designed to enhance your technical and theoretical knowledge.
- You will support the department by learning and performing practical technical tasks related to equipment maintenance and rehabilitation
- You will participate in research and assist in preparing reports that contribute to ongoing projects and service improvement
- You will also maintain accurate records and documentation, in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements.
- Full adherence to health and safety policies and demonstrating ethical practices in all tasks
- Demonstrating initiative, curiosity, and enthusiasm for developing new skills and contributing ideas for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications:
Selected candidates must have a strong academic background and demonstrate a genuine passion for engineering and technical problem-solving.
Minimum Vocational Training Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent) with proficiency in at least two languages, including English
- Proficiency in mathematics (pure or technical) and science is required
- A minimum of two additional subjects must be studied
- Familiarity with technical drawing or engineering drawings is an advantage
- An engineering diploma (mechanical/electrical) is preferred but not required
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum Qualifications: Level 2 with knowledge of structural and electrical theory
- Basic knowledge of electronics is an advantage
- Experience in an engineering or workshop environment is an asset.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Selected candidates will be required to undergo assessments
